TangoLife Classes Aug 17+

Dear TangoLovers,
Tic-tic-tic, I feel our summer days are already growing shorter, and an urgency to enjoy the sun and warmth right up to the “monsoon” season.  I know it’s hard to believe, but I did not dance this weekend (!!), and instead went to a couple wine tasting events in Woodinville, WA.  I did, however, inspect all the available dancing space within the wineries, as I’ve had a vision to create a wine-tasting, tango dancing event someday….
Kudos to those who braved the rains and football traffic in Seattle and made it to the Vals class and milonga at the Century Ballroom last Friday!  I hope you are able to practice and refine what you learned by attending the practica on Sundays.  And thanks to Uriah and Cindy for hosting the Practica Sunday while Kraig was out on holiday.
Speaking of holiday, I will be out of town visiting my daughter and dancing in the Southwest from Sept 10-21.  Classes will cancel during that time.  When I return, I will be fired up from studying with Liz Haight and Masami and other milongueros from Santa Fe and Albuquerque who host the Encuentro gatherings like the one in Pt Townsend a few months ago.  So get ready to get very up close and personal!

Meanwhile, here’s an interesting blog on differences between tango and salsa, from someone who does both.  Click Here.
Hugs!
