*Bio: Cristian Sierra began dancing tango in 2002 in Santiago de Chile. During his first years he was a DJ and became one of the most popular tango DJs in Chile.
In 2008 he made it to the finals in two tango championships in Chile. In 2009, Cristian studied with master teacher, Carlitos Espinoza, as well as Rodrigo Ruiz and Karina Anton.
In 2010, Cristian won the Chilean championship “Locos por el Tango”. That success spiked his popularity as a tango dancer and he became a frequently requested performer and teacher throughout Chile. Also in 2010, Cristian competed in the Tango World Championship in Buenos Aires and studied with Thierry Le Coq and Eduardo Pareja, both of whom have been very influential in developing his dance.
In April 2013 Cristian moved to San Francisco and currently enjoys being a part of the vibrant Bay Area tango community.
