New Years Eve MASQUERADE MILONGA

A sparkly celebration to welcome 2019

within the embraces of the tango community you love!

Masks off at Midnight!

WAIT, WHEN??…

DEC 31, 2018, 8:00 pm until 1:30 am Jan 1, 2019

OK, WHO???…

Featuring Fabulous DJ Vivian Konstantakos of Seattle

Hosted by Rebecca’s TangoLife

And all of YOU from our Pacific Northwest tango family

WHY, OH WHY?…

*The Majestic Ballroom will be dressed to the nines as we usher out the old year and welcome the new year! Sparkly lights, glitz everywhere, candles, a photo area, and ushers to help with seating. (UPDATE: First come, first seated, but you may save available seats for any prepaid attendees you wish to sit with.)

*Classy catered EMPANADAS, pastas, salads and desserts to keep your energy up. And spirits to keep you just a little on the wild side.

*DJ Vivian, perhaps our most vivacious DJ in the area, plans for an exuberant playlist to keep all manner of tango dancers happy.

*Extra masks will be sprinkled around the tables should you want to alter your ego (or forget yours at home!)

*Did I mention the CHAMPAGNE TOAST? NOISE MAKERS? AND KISSES AT MIDNIGHT?

FOOD, glorious FOOD?!

We’re talking DINNER! Jose Milonguero from Seattle and accomplice Felix from New York are coming together to prepare a sumptuous feast. Their famous Empanadas, Tuco Argentino (tomato meat sauce over bow tie pasta) and Fetuccini Alfredo (GF) are sure to delight. Plus green salads, lentils, pickled herring, cornbread and numerous tempting desserts will all but shower you with good luck in the new year.

WHAT TO WEAR!!!…

Glorious, sparkly, dressy attire, with an exotic MASK to compliment your charming personality! At midnight, it’s OFF WITH THE MASKS and UP WITH THE CHAMPAGNE!
